Zambelli Profile

Antonio Zambelli is a big name in the fireworks industry. He was the founder of Zambelli Fireworks, one of the biggest U.S. fireworks manufacturers to this day. Antonio started his company in Naples, Italy where he grew up. He then came to the United States in 1893 and brought his company with him. He set up shop in New Castle, Pennsylvania which would eventually become the fireworks capital of America. Zambelli carried a little black book of secret family recipes for fireworks. These included all kinds of recipes for creating amazing effects in aerial displays. Zambelli worked hard and was able to establish his company because there were not many pyrotechnic companies around to fill the demand of the American people. This, combined with the amazing work ethic only an immigrant can have, led to the great success of his company.

Subsequent generations after Antonio have been able to keep the success going for the pyrotechnics manufacturer. The company is known worldwide for having industry leading design and technology, while raising the standard every year. The company puts on amazing displays every year. They have done presidential celebrations, weddings, and many professional sporting events. They have done displays all over the world including Mount Rushmore, the Las Vegas Strip, New Year's at Times Square, and international shows. Zambelli Fireworks even holds a Guinness World Record for shooting fireworks from the highest altitude. This was done off of the U.S. Steel Tower in Pittsburgh. Today, the company has office locations in California, Maryland, North Carolina, along with many others. The Zambelli name is a staple in the fireworks industry, and will be for years to come.
